Experience Built Over 60 Years Diagnosing Every Type Of System And Determining The Best Result

Best Result? 95% of the time an Inspection turns out to be a Clean Passing System, even if extra diagnosing is needed to determine this.
The Other 5%? We have found much of that 5% to be fixable.
Fixable? Sorcery? No, not Sorcery. It's science! Septic Science. Systems can qualify, by passing a test, to be fixed instead of replaced.
What About The Non-Qualifiers? Septic System Replacement will always be the LAST RESORT recomendation, but there are a small number of systems that can't be fixed due to soil conditions. We will send information on government subsidies that help with up to 50% of the replacement.

What's our Title 5 Inspection like?

# 1 - Basement Inspection & Questionnaire
A quick inspection of inside the property:1) Pipes in the basement2) Waterline: Town water or Well3) Laundry4) Sump Pump5) Then a short questionnaire about the property.

# 2 - Inspection of Septic System Components
Each part of the septic system is dug up and inspected. This part of the process is the bulk of the inspection, typically taking 1-2 hours.Component # 1 - Septic tanks can last over 100 years - depending on age and type of gas produced throughout the system's lifespan causing varying rates of corrosion.Cost to replace: less than $4,500Rarely Replaced.
# 2 - Inspection of Septic System Components
Component # 2 - Distribution boxes can last 15 - 40 years - depending on age and type of gas produced throughout the system's lifespan causing varying rates of corrosion.Cost to replace: less than $2,000Commonly Replaced.

# 2 - Inspection of Septic System Components
Component # 3 - Drain fields last 20 - 40 on average: depending on the type of septic system and how heavily the system was used throughout its life. This is the part of the system that can't fix by cheapy installing new concrete, and before recently, it also couldn't be fixed without digging up the entire drain field to replace with new stone.Cost to replace: More than $20,000Qualify to avoid Replacement.
# 3 - Result & Report right away
Final part of the Title 5 Inspection - the Result can be 4 possibilities:# 1 - Pass: the system is all set and property can be sold# 2 - Conditionally Passes: the system needs a minor repair and then the septic system passes and property can be sold# 3 - Further Evaluation by Board of Health: the system is too close to a well and needs a well test, or a few other environmental issues.# 4 - Fails: the system has a high water level which means it is not draining properly. Water is not being accepted at the rate that it should anymore so the system does not pass a title 5 inspection.
