What Is The BEST Maintenance Plan For YOUR Septic System?

A plan that is SPECIFIC to your unique septic system and its remaining life.

Not all septic system are created equal, "Design and size can vary widely." - EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)

4 Outcomes You'll Find in the Free Septic System Health Check:

# 1) Your septic system is on the CORRECT septic pumping maintenance schedule already.

# 2) Your septic system is on the wrong pumping maintenance schedule - we show you how much you can SAVE.

# 3) Your septic system is NOT in need of help to ensure it continues working, but you want to guarantee your system will PASS if you wanted to sell your home.

# 4) Your septic system IS IN NEED OF HELP - Not draining correctly. Once this happens there is a 3% chance the septic system can NOT be fixed, but if you're looking at a $30,000 septic system replacement, then we suggest taking the 3% chance.

Septic pumping maintenance test or everlasting septic system? Which one is right for your specific septic system

Recently, Trevor booked his Free Septic System Health Check...

He found out pumping every year was too much for his system, with a family of 3. We completed a Maintenance Program Test for Trevor to determine the exact septic pumping maintenance schedule appropriate for his specific septic system to SAVE him money.

Grant's Septic Techs review by T Boylston

We found only 3” of sludge in his tank after 1 year of no pumping - meaning, Trevor and his family of 3 can go another 3 years safely without pumping.

Since Trevor’s system was built in 1996 and he is moving in about 5 years, he wants his system to pass title 5 inspection. To do this, we performed a Drain Field Evaluation - we found his stone was clean, with no visible clogging, and at Trevors current family’s usage, we determined his system has 15+ years left.

All Trevor needs is to pump his tank ONE more time, and then he is all set to get a title 5 inspection to sell his home!

We were able to SAVE Trevor $1428 by ensuring his system is on the CORRECT septic tank pumping schedule and will pass the title 5 inspection.

What Happens With Septic Systems That ARE On The CORRECT Septic Tank Pumping Maintenance Schedule?

Like anything in life, there is an expiration date.

It's a touchy subject no one wants to talk about, but wouldn’t it make sense to understand... to then be able to prevent septic system failure and replacement? ($20-30k)

Here’s the main reason a septic system fails:

Water + Bacteria (Human Waste) = Failure over-time.

Why?

Here’s a quick overview -

Every septic system is designed to filter wastewater and when PUMPING is the chosen maintenance, the septic system has an expiration date. The average system built after 1995 will last 20 - 40 years with a family of 5 using the septic system year after year. Systems built before 1995 since not up to title 5 code can last upwards to 50+ years.

Septic System Replacement is not needed in many cases
Water, upton ma

We've seen septic systems that were pumped every single year and the drain field stopped draining after 20 years, meaning the system is failed.

The key factor determining system life is WATER USAGE.

Here’s why.

Water saturates your drain field... Every single time a toilet is flushed, and bacteria travels out into the drain field. No matter how many times a tank is pumped bacteria will always travel into the drain field because it is carried within the black murky wastewater you see in the picture above. (Your septic tank fills back up in 1-3 weeks after being pumped depending on how much water your household uses)

Aerobic bacteria vs. Anaerobic bacteria
Septic Tank Diagram

If you pumped every 1-3 months, sure you’d likely double the life of your septic system to 40 - 80 years, but who would want to spend THAT much on septic tank pumping? (60k - 70k)

Wouldn't it make sense to invest in a new system after 20 - 40 years pumping every 2-5 years?

Just imagine your system lasted 40 years and you pumped every 3 years for a family of 5. You’d pump a total of 13 times spending about $4000 on pumping. Add that to a $25,000 system and you’ve spent less than $30,000 to maintain your old system, while also installing a completely new system.

You’re probably wondering, why does all this matter?

Now, imagine how you could save that $25,000, on a new system, by ensuring your current system doesn’t fail. Now... Just keep scrolling...

Take A Step Into The Future With... The Everlasting Septic System

The EverLasting Septic System involves installing a 'bee-hive' like structure that sits on your bottom of the septic tank.

When oxygen is pumped into the structure it acts as an incubator for the proprietary aerobic bacteria blend to multiply, then eat 99% of ALL waste flushed down the toilet, sink, or shower. Eliminating the need for septic tank pumping for many of our clients.

This is a new environment where this aerobic bacteria blend can THRIVE:

  • Eating ALL organic matter that comes into the septic system...
  • Eliminating septic tank pumping...
  • Eating ALL organic matter and biomat in the drain field...
  • Eliminating drain field clogging, septic system failure, AND replacement (saving you between $20K and 30K).

What Is The Septic Industry NOT Telling You?

There’s a lot of septic companies out there that promise to keep your septic system healthy.

They promise that “pumping more often” will lead to a cleaner drain field.

Their intentions are good, but science shows that pumping a tank more frequently WILL NOT extend a septic system’s life.

Most people forget that a septic system is alive!

An environment of anaerobic bacteria that actually cleans your wastewater for you…

1) Just a couple of months after pumping your septic tank - the anaerobic bacterial environment is fully grown and gets to work.
2) Once waste levels become one-third of the septic tank’s capacity, then, and ONLY then is it time to pump.
3) Why? Wastewater is NOT given enough time to be cleaned in the septic tank before traveling out into the drain field to be RECYCLED back into the environment.

Cleaned -- of what? Great question.

We are not talking about waste on the bottom of the septic tank,
Because at this point of one-third capacity of your septic tank,
Waste is still 1.5 feet from the outlet pipe to your drain field.

Now, hold on. Before we get ahead of ourselves.

Are you seeing the sludge and scum levels measured out when your tank is pumped?

If you are shown the levels, is there at least 1 - 1.5 feet of sludge in the septic tank when it is pumped?

If both of your answers are no… then you’re in the right place.

If both of your answers are yes… Great! You'll want to hear what we say next...

One more thing - NOTHING should be left on the bottom of the septic tank after pumping... the bottom is DEAD sludge and is the most important part to pump out - This is our friendly PSA.

Since 1961 our family has found over 10,000 + failed septic systems, and many that pumped their tanks consistently... still ended up failing.

What we have found is septic pumping does not extend a septic system’s life, but it does help to prevent sludge from reaching your outlet T and destroying your drain field in a few months.

So Why Do Septic Systems Keep Failing?

Septic System Replacement is not needed in many cases

Ask around...

Most people will tell you solids from a septic tank fail a septic system drain field.

What most people do not realize is…

Micro-organisms are constantly traveling out into the drain field every single day...
Carried in the wastewater from the septic tank.

These micro-organisms pile up on the bottom of a drain field and form,
what is called a Biomat.

The longer a septic system is in use, the thicker the biomat becomes
And eventually, the result is…
a clogged biomat and failed septic system.

Does that stone look like it's clogged with solids? Well, it's not. That picture is actually stone that has turned black, over-time, from being over-saturated. This is ALL from BIOMAT buildup and NOT the lack of septic tank pumping.

In Hopkinton Massachusetts, we just helped a homeowner who had his septic tank pumped every single year…
for 20 years straight!

And STILL ended up with a failed/clogged septic system!

Did he end up needing septic system replacement?
No.
We fixed his septic system instead of replacing it.
